I’ve been 21 years old for 14 days and it’s only
now that I’ve got the time to write about how my birthday celebration went. My
plan of going to Hundred Islands in Alaminos City didn’t push through even
though I had enough budget for it. I just thought it could wait, so I had a
change of heart.
The celebration, however, still made my 21st
birthday the best so far. My friends and I gathered at a colleague’s house in
Dagupan City where we also spent the rest of the night. Another friend—Glena—would
have her birthday the next day, so she bought Pancit Bihon which we ate at dinner.
My bestfriend Anissa ordered a mocha cake with
numerical candles (2 and 1) on top which I blew after everyone sang “Happy
Birthday!” A second cake for me and Glena was brought by another friend—Khrix.
And of course, to turn the energy up, we had a
small drinking session which added to the fun and excitement that night. We
played games and told stories like we never saw one another in a long time
(well, that was after a two-week
Christmas break).
My 20th year definitely closed with a blast!
Note:
This blog is meant to only last until I turn 21,
so after today, no more posts will be coming. But you may continue reading me
on Tidbits, my
new blog. It’s been a pleasure writing this blog for you, guys!
